The first major construction project in 2010 where Lumega was involved. Widex, the well-publicized and innovative building in Allerød, Denmark. Here, everything from RGB solutions to general lighting was implemented. Despite the size of the Lumega organization, we managed to deliver a really good lighting system.

About Widex
Widex is one of the world's leading manufacturers of digital hearing aids. The company's hearing aids are sold in more than 100 countries worldwide and the company employs over 4,000 people globally. Their new headquarters was built in 2010 and is located in North Zealand. The building is innovative, energy efficient and powered by wind energy.
The project
In connection with the construction of the new 35,000 square meter headquarters, Widex wanted an energy-efficient lighting solution that fit in with the new green profile. Lumega was contacted to create a unique solution that met all requirements.
The lighting system
Lumega created a tailor-made solution that was a perfect fit for the new headquarters. We delivered a complete architectural LED package that created a unique touch on the interior surfaces of the building. The delivery consisted of several different types of luminaires and LED strips. These strips have made it possible for Widex to change the color of the light, which is a smart feature that can be used to change the mood of the rooms. In addition, we delivered larger floodlights with RGBW function. This means that Widex also has the ability to change the expression in the center of the building's dome. The overall LED solution has created a professional look throughout the building. Furthermore, the LED lights fit perfectly with the company's new energy-efficient profile.
