About Lumega
Lumega is a European lighting manufacturer specializing in LED technology. At Lumega, we develop and dimension energy-saving lighting fixtures and strive to meet the rapidly growing demand for green solutions in industry and commerce. Back in 2011, the founder of Lumega wrote Denmark's first book on LED lighting, which became the foundation and starting point for Lumega's professional work.
In order to always provide a total solution for your project, in addition to our own production of lighting fixtures, we work closely with several OEM manufacturers, whose products will be found under the name OS product.
The team at Lumega works in complex IT and production systems that ensure we can solve even the largest lighting tasks.
History
The company's journey started as a sole proprietorship in 2008 to 2010. In 2010, the company began a new chapter as a lighting import company under the name Ledsection. In 2011, the founder of the company published the LED book, which marked the start of a completely new direction for Ledsection, including a new branding strategy and in-house production of lighting fixtures.
The company changed its name from Ledsection to Normasym in 2011. In 2016, the company opened a foreign company to be able to handle projects outside Denmark's borders. It wasn't until 2018 that the parent company was given its current name Lumega.
In 2019, Lumega gained a sister company called Luxega, which specializes in street lighting and its own production. Another sister company joined Lumega in 2020, a sister company called Lumega Home, focusing on lighting for private homes.
Quality first and foremost
At Lumega, we offer products for both indoor and outdoor lighting. Our innovative LED products are aimed at both the construction sector and industry. All our products are extensively tested before launch by independent organizations, including the Danish Technological Institute. The products are tested to ensure that they meet Lumega's quality requirements for long lifetime, high energy efficiency and good light quality.
Our skilled lighting designers help visualize Lumega's lighting solutions via 3D simulations. These simulations give a good indication of how the lighting will appear, which is beneficial for the architect, consultant and client.
In addition, the simulations give the electrician a full overview of the lighting system installation.
