Sticks'n'Sushi
For many years, Lumega has been a regular lighting supplier to the well-known company Sticks'n'Sushi, which started in Nansensgade, Copenhagen. Today, the company can be found in several places around the world and has a turnover of staggering millions. It's not without reason. Their understanding of atmosphere and dining experience is excellent.
About Sticks'n'Sushi
At Sticks'n'Sushi, exclusivity is paramount. The restaurant chain places great emphasis on good quality and that customers have a good experience every time they visit one of the 13 restaurants in Copenhagen and the surrounding area. When the restaurants in Tivoli Hotel and at Rungsted harbor were to be designed and built, Sticks'n'Sushi therefore allied with Lumega to ensure a lighting that could give the restaurants the special and exclusive atmosphere they strive for and which is common in all the restaurants.
The lighting system
Lumega are experts in exclusive LED lighting solutions, and we have therefore had the opportunity to customize a lighting installation that fits perfectly for each of the two restaurants. Sticks'n'Sushi wanted to install a solution that would ensure a good atmosphere in both restaurants.
The restaurant on the 12th floor of the Tivoli Hotel had limited space for lighting installations, but since LED lights require minimal space, finding a suitable solution was no problem. Lumega installed several meters of Kandiflex strip lights as indirect lighting to create contrasts. Kandiflex is the most powerful version of LED strips on the market and can be customized to suit individual needs. The same type of light was installed under the cabinets in the kitchen, providing good, even task lighting. The suspended lights in the Tivoli Hotel restaurant, also known as the clouds, are staggered in the outer part of the restaurant to create a good atmosphere. In addition, they are equipped with integrated LEDs that can be dimmed as needed.
In the restaurant at Rungsted harbor, great emphasis has also been placed on good and even work lighting, as well as the possibility of dimming the lighting in the restaurant itself, so the light can be dimmed if desired.
