Glostrup Parkhotel
Glostrup Park Hotel has undergone a major renovation and extension of the existing hotel, as they want to focus on the meeting and conference market in the future. The hotel has been expanded with a 2,800 square meter Orangery on two levels and after another extension in 2016, the hotel will house 24 meeting rooms and 211 hotel rooms. In the extension and renovation of the existing areas, Glostrup Park Hotel wanted intelligent solutions that were environmentally conscious and provided better comfort for visiting customers. The previous solutions with incandescent and energy-saving light bulbs did not meet these requirements, which is why Lumega was given the task.

The lighting system
In connection with the major renovation of Glostrup Park Hotel, the majority of the new lighting was supplied by Lumega. Throughout the renovation, Glostrup Park Hotel has focused on high quality materials. They wanted to create an exclusive expression, which Lumega has made possible. LED-based products have been used in the majority of the renovation and new construction at the hotel, and by creating an intelligent lighting control, it has been possible to create an incredibly energy-efficient lighting installation. The intelligent lighting control and the choice of LED has also led to an energy saving that will minimize electricity consumption.
Glostrup Park Hotel has also placed great emphasis on future-proofing the hotel. The new, intelligent and energy-friendly lighting installation helps with this, as it has an incredibly long lifespan. The hotel will therefore not have to change the bulbs in the lamps with LED bulbs from time to time, as was previously the case with incandescent and energy-saving bulbs, which was cumbersome, time-consuming and costly for the hotel.
