Rødovre Port

In the top 10 of the largest newly constructed residential buildings is the large Rødovre Port. This is a total construction project that is estimated to be able to house more than 1000 residents. Lumega is the main supplier of all the lighting and has in close dialog with Kemp & Lauritzen found the right lighting solutions.

Construction

The project comprises a total of 37,500 m2 where 534 residential and commercial leases will form the basis of a new modern Rødovre. The construction, located right next to Rødovre Station, is in full swing and will result in 534 rental homes. The commercial premises will comprise 4,300 m2 including shops and offices. In addition, 700 bicycle parking spaces and underground parking for 200 cars are included. This is a completely new urban area in Rødovre and it is expected to have up to 1,000 residents in the newly constructed 1-5 room apartments.

Lighting systems

This project involved a complete lighting delivery for interior and exterior areas. Lumega won this multi-million dollar order back in 2020 and expects final deliveries to take place in the first quarter of 2022.
