NRM - Roofervej
Healing architecture, as the physical environment is important for patients' healing process, among other things. The building's distinctive features and colors make it easier for residents to find their way around the 1,599m2 building. Lighting plays a crucial role in this building and especially when building from healing architecture. Lumega was chosen as the turnkey supplier of the entire lighting package.

Construction
The first thoughts about the expansion of Tagdækkervej came in the wake of the formation of the regions' stricter requirements for inpatient rehabilitation, among other things. In 2017, there was great support from the municipalities, which resulted in the projects being launched with the right parties.
The main purpose of the building was to create better facilities, especially in relation to rehabilitation. Therefore, the building itself is based on the basic idea of healing architecture, as the physical environment is important for patients' healing process. The building's distinctive features and colors make it easier for residents to find their way around the 1,599m2 building. Lighting plays a crucial role in this building, especially when building based on healing architecture. The building has a focus on quality, which is reflected in the total construction cost, estimated at DKK 41 million.
Lighting systems
Lumega was involved in the project at an early stage and has worked closely with Casa Arkitekter, WSP and the Central Denmark Region. The lighting interacts with the interior design to create a better atmosphere for the residents. It is no secret that daylight has a great impact on the healing process, which is why Lumega has delivered light sources that can imitate the properties of daylight and thereby support the residents' rehabilitation.
The lighting consists of the latest LED technology, which can vary from extra warm light 1800K up to extra cold light 6500K. In combination with good color rendering, this varying Kelvin scale helps to complement a successful rehabilitation.
DALI V2 DT8 lighting control
Lumega supplied both the fine round surface-mounted luminaire NS40 with a pleasant backlight effect and the NS11 recessed LED downlights with a high lm/W and diffuse pleasant light. In the bathrooms, the NS50 was chosen as a mirror luminaire along with a few other special lighting concepts. In order to control the lighting control, Lumega, in close cooperation with Bravida, supplied the right drivers so that the communication between the software programming and the driver could control the circadian lighting.
Circadian rhythm light
The concept of Circadian Lighting has been around for many years. In the beginning, fluorescent tubes were used to imitate and adjust the light according to the 24 hours of the day. Later, with the advent of LED lighting, this light source technology took over circadian lighting, as the properties of this type of light source could ensure a much more precise circadian rhythm than fluorescent lighting. Therefore, it wasn't long before the LED light source emerged as the preferred choice for the best circadian lighting. The rapid development of LED technology means that it is now possible to produce lighting that represents the entire Kelvin scale. This is why we have the opportunity to reconstruct circadian lighting via the Kelvin scale. Lumega delivered lighting that ranged between 1500K - 10,000K (kelvin) and with good color rendering. The lighting was tailored to the specific needs of the residents and each scenario was supported with carefully selected lighting.
Office lighting and general lighting for the employees at Tagdækkervej ranged between 2700K - 6500K, depending on the tasks and rooms involved. In general, choosing the right lighting requires careful consideration, both because the lighting system must be able to support the choice of light sources and meet the European lighting standard - most importantly, the lighting must support the activity of the room/area.
Lumega has in-depth knowledge and experience in circadian lighting, we understand the complexity of light and are therefore able to create lighting that both meets standards and follows and supports the daily rhythm.
