Nordisk Film

The Danish shopping center Sillebroen in Frederikssund wanted to expand with a cinema at the center. Nordisk Film is therefore building a cinema in Sillebroen Shopping Center, and Lumega has tailored and developed a lighting system for the cinema that meets all requirements and expectations, and as a bonus, will also increase sales in the cinema.

Nordisk Film A/S is a Danish film company founded on November 6, 1906 by Ole Olsen and headquartered in Valby, Denmark. It is one of the world's oldest film production companies still in existence. Nordisk Film is now owned by the Egmont Group.

The lighting system

When Nordisk Film had a great desire to build a brand new and modern movie theater, they wanted a lighting solution that could match the cinema. They contacted Lumega, and we were asked to do the job. Together with Nordisk Film's skilled interior designers, our own talented lighting designers have tailored an LED solution that will create excellent lighting in the cinema.

Since the new cinema in Sillebroen Shoppingcenter will contain 4 auditoriums with more than 500 seats, Nordisk Film wanted an energy-saving lighting solution. This is one of the reasons why LED was chosen as it is an incredibly energy-saving light source, especially compared to traditional light sources. Furthermore, LED lighting has a long lifespan, which means that Nordisk Film does not have to change their lamps over and over again. Another positive thing about LED lighting is that there is almost no maintenance required with such a lighting solution. Unfortunately, we don't have any more pictures of the lighting installations.
