About Plejecenter Hørgården
Plejecentret Hørgården, a nursing home located in Ørestad Syd in Copenhagen S, has undergone a complete renovation to modernize the nursing home and make it more contemporary. The care center was built in 1974 and consists of three five-storey blocks, which have been transformed into a modern care center with 189 new homes.
The lighting system
In connection with the complete renovation of the care center, Lumega was approached to design and install a complete LED lighting solution. We have delivered LED lights specifically designed for the 364 modern care homes, including corridor lighting and lighting for toilets.
The new LED lighting meets all energy and environmental requirements for 2020 and is a very climate-friendly way to light the buildings. The new LED lights create modern, healthy, spacious and bright homes, which also leads to a better working environment for care staff.
