A blink of an eye from the sea in Haderslev, Denmark, 160 exclusive owner-occupied homes are being built. Sales will start in winter 2021 and construction will begin in Q1 2022 and run until the end of 2023. With the new exclusive owner-occupied homes, Haderslev is expected to experience a major influx of new residents.

Honnørkajen is a large development project in Haderslev. It is located right next to the water and consists of 160 owner-occupied homes in a very exclusive form. The project runs from 2021 - 2023, when the move-in should take place.

The lighting system

Lumega has been responsible for the majority of the lighting for the project. The extensive installation will include our energy-efficient NS60 LED luminaire, which with integrated smart sensor technology ensures significant energy savings compared to fluorescent lamps. With Lumega's solution, the lamps talk to each other and maintain the required lux level. They take care of measuring the amount of daylight. In addition, we have included wireless push buttons in the delivery that can communicate directly with the lamps' smart sensor system. It is important for Lumega to have a close dialog with the electrical contractor to make the installation of the lighting fixtures as simple as possible. Therefore, in this project we have included the Winsta Wago plug and have our factory install it. This saves the electrical contractor significant time during installation and keeps the numbers black on the bottom line. Lumega will deliver almost 800 luminaires in three stages.

Lighting for residential construction

Residential buildings always need lighting. Existing residential buildings can reap low-hanging energy savings by implementing modern LED lighting, while new builds can reap the energy savings at the time of construction. The benefits of the right lighting for residential construction are many and varied. With the latest intelligent sensor technology, the light can dim when there is no movement and turn up to 100% when there is movement. The lighting fixtures can now talk to each other, making installation easier for the electrical contractor. All in all, many interesting lighting solutions can be created in residential buildings that not only look great, but also create safety and comfort in the area.
