In recent years, Høje Taastrup has been undergoing major development. Many residential buildings have been built in Høje Taastrup in the last 3 years. The entire urban development project is exciting to follow in Høje Taastrup because the neighborhoods themselves are changing rapidly. This project is a residential building where 86 modern apartments are being built. In addition to the apartments, there is parking in an adjacent parking garage and common areas for the residents. The project is expected to be ready for occupancy in August 2022.

The lighting system

The lighting system in this project consists of lighting in Stairways, parking lots, common areas and outdoor lighting. Lumega has supplied wireless lights for the Stairways. The smart thing about these lights is that they talk to each other. If a light detects movement, it will pass this information on to the remaining lights, which will turn on accordingly. The smart thing about this type of light is that you have the opportunity to achieve high energy savings and for the electrician there is the opportunity to save on the electrical contract. The financial savings come from the fact that there is a sensor in each lamp and therefore you only need to supply power to the lamp. This means that no other types of sensors need to be installed in the Stairways. In addition, Lumega has been responsible for the delivery of linear luminaires, 60×60 NS50 luminaires, pendants and exterior lighting consisting of wall lights.
