Bovieran homes with a tropical feel
Bovieran Danmark A/S, together with Sjælsø Gruppen A/S, has developed the concept of senior housing, where residents experience a whole new opportunity to enjoy the tropics right outside their front door. The project is scalable and several Bovieran concepts have already been built around Zealand.

The project typically consists of 55 senior housing units. Today, there are 7 buildings that have been constructed and partially handed over. The focal point and uniqueness of the buildings is the centered winter garden. The winter garden provides meeting places and quiet spaces for the residents. It is beautifully planted with palm trees, trees and shrubs. Regardless of the temperature outdoors, it never gets colder than 10 degrees in the conservatory. This accommodates the usability of the conservatory all year round. The homes consist of apartments with either two or three rooms, ranging in size from 79 to 105 sqm. Throughout the project, consideration has been given to reducing energy consumption. This is done with energy-efficient ventilation systems, heat recovery, energy-saving LED lighting and is supplied by solar cells on the roof of the building.
The lighting system
Innovative buildings and new concepts are important so that Denmark can continue to boast energy-efficient buildings and innovative concepts in construction and architecture in the future. For Lumega, an assignment like this helps pave the way for the use of lighting in an exciting space of experiences. Lighting has characterized the project because atmosphere is important throughout the area. With the conservatory, Lumega has created a lighting design where plants contrast beautifully with the rest of the interior. An experience has been created with light that, without dazzling, provides security, coziness and at the same time complies with the standards for lighting design.
The lighting system consists of a fixed concept equipped with everything from floodlights, underground spots, spotlights for illuminating trees, wall lights, downlights, park luminaires, bollards and general lighting for technical rooms, depots and apartments. The installation is extremely energy-efficient and thus leads Bovieran Denmark in the right direction towards energy-efficient buildings. At the beginning of 2018, Lumega was in close competition with many other lighting suppliers, and 3 years later, Lumega has now delivered to a total of 5 out of 7 buildings.
