Successful 30-day business trip

Run Group is proud to announce that our Group CEO, Rune Søgaard Larsen, has just completed an intensive and successful 30-day business trip to China. The purpose of the trip was to strengthen our global activities, ensure continued technological leadership and verify that all business partners live up to our high standards.

During the visit, Rune Søgaard Larsen conducted unannounced inspections at all partner factories to ensure full compliance with Run Group's CSR policies and quality requirements. Our dedication to social responsibility, transparency and uncompromising quality is and remains a cornerstone of Run Group's values.

In addition, a series of strategic meetings were held with the world's leading component suppliers. These meetings have given Run Group access to the latest knowledge about intelligent lighting, modern materials, raw material treatments and optimized production methods that will further lower costs without compromising on quality.

An important outcome of the journey was the further development of Run Group's own AI model for LED retrofit. From June 2025, the next generation of the model will enable electrical installers, contractors and building owners to significantly reduce project costs and installation time. With faster and more accurate solutions, our AI model sets new standards for sustainable lighting modernization.

Run Group continues to deliver intelligent, future-proof solutions that create real business benefits for our partners and customers.

Of course, there was also time to enjoy the Chinese hospitality, where Rune Søgaard Larsen participated in cozy dinners with local specialties and a few beers. With a smile, Rune notes that a little diet might be on the cards for May.
