Lumega's second business trip to Dubai

Lumega's CEO, Rune Søgaard Larsen, has just returned from a week-long business trip to Dubai. This is the second time within three months that Rune has visited the emirate, and this time the purpose was to meet with a number of potential customers and business partners and to expand his knowledge of the lighting market in Dubai.

Lumega is undergoing a rapid development with an increasing focus on new international markets. In October 2017, Rune visited Dubai for the first time and after a very successful trip, new flights to the emirate were quickly booked.

In one of the first meetings, Rune negotiated with a company with a specific lighting project in Dubai. Before the meeting, Lumega had already bid the equivalent of around DKK 15 million for the project. It was therefore important to meet the company and explain what Lumega is good at and why they should choose us.

In addition, Rune met with a landscape architect who works for one of the largest architectural firms in Dubai. The company is currently designing what will become the world's tallest building, with a height of more than one kilometer. This company is only interested in outdoor lighting, so in this meeting, Lumega's many outdoor lighting solutions were discussed.
