Gladsaxe swimming pool

Gladsaxe swimming pool underwent a major energy renovation where all lighting was replaced. In swimming pools, there are extra high demands on the luminaires due to the high levels of chlorine in the air. Lumega put this to the test with the correct treatment and painting of all lighting fixtures in the swimming pool.

About Gladsaxe swimming pool

Gladsaxe Svømmehal has a 50-meter pool with a water temperature of 26.5 to 27 degrees. The pool is divided in the middle with 25-meter lanes on each side, except from Monday evening at 18:00 to Tuesday morning at 08:00, when long course swimming is available.

Lighting solution

Back in 2012, Lumega delivered a complete LED system to Gladsaxe swimming pool. The solution has helped to create a completely different look, as the LED lighting helps to illuminate the entire swimming pool for the benefit of employees and visitors. In 2018, the swimming pool chose to completely renovate the old building. We are proud to say that the LED system we installed almost 10 years ago is still working flawlessly.

We helped with much of the lighting in 2018, and in this project we delivered a customized solution. The product os0051 we installed at the time was from our Onestop portfolio. Gladsaxe swimming pool chose to implement an RGB solution with many different color shades, including the product NS11, which is a built-in LED downlight lamp. It is a solution where they have the option to control the color of the light via Wi-Fi directly from an app.

General lighting in different areas was also used.
