Dragør Municipality has once again taken a significant step towards improving the energy efficiency of its buildings. This time, the municipality has carried out an extensive energy renovation by replacing the lighting in four large buildings, including schools, kindergartens and the municipal headquarters.

The collaboration

After the successful energy renovation of 15 buildings in 2020, Dragør Municipality has now continued their efforts by replacing all lighting in four of their largest buildings. This includes schools, kindergartens and the municipality's headquarters, where modern, energy-efficient LED luminaires from Lumega have been installed. The project was carried out in close collaboration with Ramboll as client advisor and A & H El Teknik A/S as electrical contractor.

The selection process

Ramboll, in collaboration with Dragør Municipality, selected the buildings most in need of energy optimization. Particular focus was placed on buildings with high electricity consumption for lighting, where old and inefficient lighting systems needed to be replaced. The goal was to achieve significant energy savings, reduce CO2 emissions and ensure a short payback time on the investment.

The lighting system

Lumega delivered the complete lighting package for the project, which included everything from NS60 panels with the high energy efficiency to ceiling wall and ceiling lights with built-in intelligent sensors. In addition, line luminaires, pendants and larger luminaires were installed to light the larger rooms.
