The new Morsø care center
In Denmark, many new nursing homes are being built. This is partly due to our good welfare society. There are more and more elderly people and they need to feel comfortable in modern, beautiful and inspired premises. Morsø Nursing Home is one of the most modern nursing homes in Denmark. A great deal of thought has gone into the interior design of this project. An interior design that caters for the elderly residents.

The project
Morsø nursing home is a new building and in collaboration with Jysk Elteknik A/S, Lumega has delivered professional lighting design and lighting for the entire building. A common feature of the building is the beautiful interior design, which reflects the calm surroundings. In many places there are paintings on the walls and even in several places the paintings are part of the wall. The lighting is highlighted by the use of our beautiful NS40. The round luminaire is available in many different sizes. The project uses suspended and surface-mounted solutions. This flexibility has allowed us to use the same type of luminaire in several places in the building. This is an advantage both in terms of future service, but also so that the elderly do not have to deal with many different types of lamps. In other smaller rooms in the building, the focus has been on downlights, including NS11 and a few other types of lamps for decorative purposes.
Lighting for care homes
In 2020, Lumega has been involved in many projects where nursing homes were either renovated or newly built. In all projects, there has been a strong focus on creating the right lighting. Good lighting for the elderly doesn't have to be a big financial item. Lumega has put together modern LED lighting systems with good light quality and comfort at an affordable price.
