The International School

In 2021, the International Folk High School in Elsinore turned 100 years old. This was to be celebrated with a major renovation and extension. The extension consists of an architecturally beautiful expression of 1,100m2. The project is expected to be completed in 2022, opening the new beautiful facilities to a lot of hopeful students.

The project includes a large auditorium that can accommodate 150 people. In addition, there is a remodeling of parts of the school. The entire project has been handled exceptionally well by Urban Power, who have used good materials. This creates a nice synergy and fits in well with the existing building stock. The project amounts to a total of DKK 34 million.

The lighting system

Lumega is the total lighting supplier for the project. The lighting system is included with line luminaires that are inserted between the ceiling slats. The luminaires are delivered in black to blend in with the ceiling slats. Also included is the NS50 line luminaire in special dimensions and our popular NS40 round lamp. For exterior lighting, the OS0069 wall light was chosen, which comes in an extra powerful version. The lighting delivery will be installed by Boysen El & Teknik.
