Lumega wins major lighting contract for Nørrebro Bycenter's three-digit million renovation
The Danish lighting manufacturer, Lumega, has just won a major lighting contract as part of an extensive renovation of Nørrebro Bycenter. Nørrebro Bycenter, owned by Danske Shopping Centre A/S, is facing a complete interior refresh, and Lumega will deliver the latest smart LED lighting for both indoor and outdoor use.
Scope of the renovation
The three-digit million dollar renovation includes a complete revamp of the center's interior design such as new walls, fountains with recycled bottles, restroom facilities and installation of plant walls, all with a focus on sustainability and modern aesthetics. But it's the lighting, spearheaded by Lumega, that will take the project to new heights. Lumega's state-of-the-art lighting will help transform the entire shopping experience in Nørrebro Bycenter.
Innovative lighting created in close collaboration with Casambi
Lumega has designed a customized smart LED lighting solution developed in close collaboration with Casambi, a leading provider of intelligent lighting control systems. The lighting is both indoor and outdoor and combines advanced technology such as RGBW color switching and specially designed optical solutions to create the optimal lighting experience. This smart lighting solution allows for flexibility in light control and color temperature, enhancing the atmosphere of the mall and creating a dynamic shopping experience. The system is designed to be both energy efficient and aesthetically pleasing, with the ability to adjust light levels in different areas of the mall.
Future ambitions
The renovation of Nørrebro Bycenter is expected to be one of the most impressive in Northern Europe, and Lumega will present images of the project later this year.
