  • Lumega was founded by the current owner Rune Søgaard Larsen in 2008. The company operates in Denmark and other parts of the world. We have therefore been on the market for a number of years, but it is only since 2016 that we have managed to get the brand widespread in the construction industry.

  • We never speak ill of our colleagues in the lighting industry. That's why the lighting suppliers you're using now are likely to be quite professional and deliver projects well.

    At Lumega, we are committed to being present during the entire construction process. This means that our project is not finalized until the building is handed over. This ensures full support throughout the entire process.

    As Lumega is not a supplier, but a lighting manufacturer, we offer a 10-year spare parts warranty for our own luminaires. This is only possible because we own the tools used to produce luminaire housings and components.

    We find that our flexibility in the choice of luminaire colors at no extra cost and knowledge of materials creates a joy for the consultant. We also find that all our impartial measurements provide peace of mind. All in all, our transparency and flexibility help to provide successful projects without errors and defects at the 1 and 5-year reviews.

  • There are now fewer professional lighting suppliers (17) than just 4 years ago. This has been due to the many new standards that have been included in tenders and a general improvement in knowledge about the quality of lighting products.

    At Lumega, we don't need to make a big sales pitch. We believe in our products and document it with unbiased measurements. We believe in long-term collaborations where people communicate with people. If your attitude and ours are under the same umbrella, a future collaboration is guaranteed to be fruitful for both parties.

  • Back in October 2023, Lumega in Denmark unfortunately lost a lot of money on two customers who became insolvent. This meant the Danish part of Lumega shut down. For many builders, contractors and electricians, there was fear in their eyes, because what about the warranty for all the construction projects? Rune Søgaard Larsen chose to start a new CVR number and personally call all existing customers to mention the warranty was transferred to the new CVR number. This earned respect from everyone, which is why new orders naturally became part of the new company. Today, the new CVR number covers all activity in Europe and not just Denmark and Sweden as before. It is our hope that history shows our credibility.

  • Whether it's a small or large lighting project, it goes through our lighting calculation and planning mill.

    Lumega collaborates with many consultants such as Ramboll, Sweco, Niras, CF Møller, Ingeniør'ne, Klaus Nielsen, Vita and others.
