Lighting for your industry
We always gather information about the area and the workflows that take place in the areas. From there, we measure the area with a laser meter if there are no drawings with measurements of the areas. The lighting designer makes sure that we comply with the latest European requirements in your industry, including places where there could be a risk of explosion.
Examples of harsh environments where dust and dirt are present are always involved in our design phase. As dirt and dust are a more common part of industry, lighting needs to be more than just robust and energy efficient. There needs to be more focus on tightness classes that lead to a virtually maintenance-free lighting installation.
The design provides a complete overview of the older lighting and the new modern lighting. In some cases, this involves the implementation of smart lighting control which, in addition to delivering further energy savings, also contributes to data collection from production using sensors that connect to your existing PLC control.

With the new LED luminaires from Lumega, it is very difficult to hit 5 years. The typical lighting systems we supply have a payback time of between 2-3 years. If energy subsidies are added to this, the payback time can be so advantageous that the company makes money already after the first year.

It is clearly an advantage if there are more than 50 lighting fixtures. Remember, the higher the energy savings, the more electricity (kWh) is saved. Lumega will find the amount of electricity savings in the reports performed. Then we can help you apply for the grant. The amount varies, but the subsidy is typically between 20-35 øre / kWh. It can therefore be a very good business case to consider energy subsidies before installing LED lighting.
